Downtown Parking

For those of you not lucky enough to find parking around the Courthouse Plaza the City of Prescott built a parking garage just for you. Just one block west from downtown on South Granite Street (half way between Gurley Street and Goodwin Street) stands a five story parking garage. For easy access there are elevators to all levels of the garage as well as stairs. The garage provides ample parking and easy access to shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries and lodging.

Parking in the garage is free for everyone except on certain holidays and special events. A list of the special event days through 2007 when a nominal fee will be charged for parking is listed below:

Many of the side streets around the Courthouse Plaza also allow for parking but they often get congested and always fill up quickly. Street parking is free but spaces have time limits for maximum amount of time your vehicle may remain in the space.
